It was friend and fellow music man DJ JonnyG who first made UK Soul Artist Ross Morris aware of the U-Turn family earlier in the year and after speaking with Godfrey Fletcher who explained what the U-Turn project represented Ross knew it was something he had to be a part of.

Here’s what the 27 year old singer had to say:

“Working with a producer like Herb Middleton was a dream come true – I grew up listening to songs that Herb had written and produced for artists like Mary J Blige, Nas, Biggie and Total so to now have the opportunity to record one of Herbs tracks is crazy!”

“U-Turn is about taking it back to how music use to be and I think the track we have done represents those old skool sounds from back in the day that made people want to go out and buy a CD – I know for sure that the music on this project will make people return to the record shops and start buying those CD’s again!”
