To me, U-Turn stands for the revival of real music, music with feeling. Music with passion and inspiration at its conception. I’d call it an alternative to the noise that has become widely accepted, as ‘good’ music. That’s not to be confused with the beauty of variety, within music. It is, however, unacceptable to sit idly by while music, in general, loses its soul.

I became of The U-Turn Project earlier this year, when a few of my mixtape and unreleased tracks were heard by Godfrey Fletcher & Herb Middleton. I was invited to contribute a few bars, to a beat that Herb had passed around, and that was how we got started. Things really began to move, in my case, when I wrote to a song called Getaway, created by Herb and featuring JP.

Being a part of The U-turn Project has helped me to grow, as an artist, immensely in a very short space of time. It has taken me from being the average struggling artist, to becoming a more rounded and motivated professional. The U-Turn Project has taken my career from relative obscurity, and put it within eyesight & earshot of a much wider audience, in a matter of months.

In the future, you can expect to hear the track I mentioned earlier, “Getaway”, produced by Herb Middleton, and featuring JP’s soothing vocals on hook. Also, ifyou don’t know by now, the title track “U-Turn” is already growing in popularity and exposure, so expect to see & hear good things with that one! And possibly some brand new, extra special things will come your way from The U-Turn Project very soon!
